About Blue Heron

We strive to have every game that we make to be accessible, fun, and challenging. We make games that examine the bounds of design and bring innovative experiences to the table.


Trevor Harron, founder and designer of Blue Heron Entertainment, originally received his training as a Computer Science Major at Middlebury College. While at Middlebury, Trevor was a part of the game making club. Following graduation, he worked as a back-end developer for PlayFab Inc, pursuing his passion for both software development and game design. Throughout his life, Trevor has loved games of all shapes and sizes. Thus, he sought to hone his skills for game design through the University of Washington's Game Design certificate program. Now he is a member of the advisory board for the University of Washington’s Game Design certificate with his perspective as a former student. In addition to his time at the University of Washington, Trevor graduated DigiPen refined his designing skills and programming skills.
Trevor's games include Collectors and Capers, Affectionate: Cats and Cuddles, and Who Wears the Crown. He has also designed the Nest. Trevor strives to bring an innovative and unique design to each game developed through Blue Heron Entertainment, in hopes of helping redefine the face of the gaming world.

Nayaki Anandan is a freelance illustrator stationed in Seattle, Washington. With interests in game design and concept art, her work encompasses a variety of media and subject matters. She draws inspiration from a collection of cultures and concepts thanks to years of traveling and an education at the Rhode Island School of Design. Kaitlyn Castellow is a Visual and UX Designer from the Seattle area. She combines her background in international and cultural studies, and love of research, with a vivid imagination to create designs of both historical and symbolic significance.
